Restaurants In Malta Must Follow These 5 NEW Rules Before Reopening This Friday 🚨 πŸ”




In the most recent national press conference, Robert Abela's informed the Maltese public that restaurants, hair salons & beauticians may reopen their doors this Friday, the 22nd.


Another noteworthy announcement was made by Chris Fearne, who revealed that a number of health services will also be opening up, along with outpatient services at Mater Dei.




The New Rules 🚨




#1 - Max Capacity πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦



Restaurants can only seat a maximum of 6 people from the same household per table.





#2 - Bacteria Barriers 🚧



Sauce, salt, pepper, oil & vinegar will all come in separate bowls or single-use sachets.





#3 - Safe Distancing 🍝

Indoor seats must be set 3 metres apart & outdoor seats must 2 metres apart.



#4 - Sorry Smokers 😟


No smoking is allowed unless at least 10 metres away from any restaurant tables.



#5 - Mandatory Masks 🀿


All staff are to wear masks / visors & tableware must be disinfected after every table.
