Huge Netflix News! The Streaming Giant Will Be Releasing A Film A Week For All Of 2021 😱 😍
The Show Must Go On! 🍿
Despite plenty of films being postponed and cancelled last year, it seems that 2021 is back with a vengeance for the film industry. So much so, that Netflix have made the bold announcement that they'll be launching a film a week for the whole year...
The fine print is that Netflix will be releasing at least one film a week, which means that some weeks will contain even more! In fact, the total current lineup contains 70 movies for the year.
Since we mentioned Covid, this news is probably a big testament to the fact that Coronavirus has forced many theatres across the United States to shutdown - which has given a much higher priority to streaming services.
In fact, huge players like Warner Bros have recently announced their plans to release their films on streaming platforms at the same time as they release in theatres - in order to not miss out on some huge potential earnings.
