DAILY UPDATE ⚠️ 5 New Confirmed Cases, 2 Cases Fully Recovered 😬




Superintendent of Public Health Charmaine Gauci has again confirmed new cases of Coronavirus in Malta, increasing the total to 53.



Case Breakdown 🤔





Cases 1 & 2:


1 - A 56-year-old Maltese woman who may have contracted the virus from a relative, who had earlier tested positive.


2 - A 29-year-old Maltese man who developed symptoms after travelling to the UK, likely an imported case.



Case 3:


A 33-year-old Spanish man, living in Malta, developed symptoms soon after returning from a trip to Madrid. He had returned to work before showing symptoms, however his colleagues have all been checked by the health authorities & none of them have tested positive.



Cases 4 & 5:


4 - A 35-year-old Maltese man who developed symptoms shortly after travelling to Brussels.


5 - 64-year-old Maltese man who developed symptoms shortly after travelling to the UK with a relative who had tested positive earlier.
